Wait Nation is a country whose boundaries are too blurry to map. Wait Nation has many flags; some have never been flown, while others are hoisted often and in unison. Citizens are well-adapted to the fog and have developed a kind of super-vision that is actually an absence of vision. Flags send messages between the hills. Forecasts predict that the clouds will lift someday soon, but in the meantime, everyone is always grasping around in Wait Nation.
